MOPIC receives Pakistani public policy, planning delegation

AMMAN — A delegation from the National Management College of Pakistan on Wednesday visited the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation (MOPIC). The visit comes as part of a study tour aimed to refine the participants’ understanding the general policies of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and to explore the possibility of implementing them in Pakistani contexts.
It also aims to build capabilities of participants in the planning and formulation of public policies and on how to coordinate between ministries and the process of planning for social and economic development and the role of the public and private sector in the development process.
The delegates were briefed on the work of the ministry and the process of planning for development in consultation with the concerned partners in all sectors. Following the briefing, the ministry’s staff answered all the questions and inquiries of the visiting delegation.
