Nuclear power company recommends appointing Hiyasat as director

AMMAN — The Jordan Nuclear Power Company board on Sunday recommended that Ahmad Hiyasat be appointed as the company’s director general.
At a meeting, headed by Chairman and Senate President Faisal Fayez, the board also decided to appoint Khaled Toukan, who heads the Jordan Atomic Energy Commission as vice-chairman.
The company’s board also appointed Kamal Araj and Salaheddin Malkawi as deputy directors, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. The recommendations were referred to the Cabinet.
