Parliament summoned to meet for extraordinary session

AMMAN — A Royal Decree was issued on Tuesday, summoning the Parliament to convene for an extraordinary session, as of Saturday August 1st, to endorse the following legislative bills:

1.The 2015  draft law on municipalities

2.The 2015 draft law on decentralisation 

3.The draft law on the ratification of the Vienna Convention on Civil Liability 

4.The 2015 draft law on integrity and anti-corruption 

5.The 2015 Independent Elections Commission draft law

6.The 2002 temporary law of the national committee for international and humanitarian law

7.The 2015 draft amendments of the Lower House’s statute

8.The 2015 draft amendments to the (judicial) Execution Law

9.The draft law governing money exchange works for 2015

10.The 2015 draft law on the transfer of the revenues of government departments and units

11.The draft law on the prohibition of chemical weapons for 2014 

12.The 2015 draft law on conscription and military reserve service

13.The 2015 draft law on agricultural risk-management 

14.The draft law on appropriations for 2012.
