Rainfall to continue throughout day

AMMAN — The Kingdom will continue to be affected by unstable weather conditions today, with rainfall expected in several regions, including Aqaba, the Jordan Metrological Department said on Wednesday.

Rain is forecast to be heavy in some areas and accompanied by thunderstorms and hail at times, which may lead to flooding in valleys and low-lying areas, according to a JMD statement.

Rainfall is expected to ease gradually going into the evening in the northern and central regions of the Kingdom, with moderate to brisk north-westerly winds. A slight drop in temperatures is expected on Friday with relatively cold and partially cloudy weather during the day.
