Refugee-host countries reject downsizing UNRWA services

AMMAN — Refugee-host countries on Monday reiterated their rejection to any reduction of UNRWA's services offered to beneficiaries.
During a coordinitation meeting headed by Director General of the Palestinian Affairs Department Rafiq Khirfan, the gathering highlighted the necessity of urging donors to fulfill their pledges made to the UN agency, as well as to seek new supporters.
Talks, during the virtual meeting attended by representatives from the host countries and the Arab League, also went over developments related to the spread of COVID-19 in Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon and Palestine, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
