Remittances of Jordanian expatriates rose 0.2% in first half 2021 — CBJ

AMMAN — Remittances of Jordanian expatriates rose by 0.2 per cent in the first half of 2021 to JD1.174 billion compared with the same period of 2020, the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) announced on Wednesday.

The CBJ said that Jordanian expatriates’ remittances in June alone went up by 2 per cent to JD194.7 million compared with June 2020, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
