RMS, Queen Rania children’s hospital honoured

AMMAN — The Royal Medical Services (RMS) on Thursday received the first-place prize for creativity and innovation during a celebration held in the presence of its Director General Gen. Shaukat Tamimi and Director of the King Abdullah II Centre for Excellence Ibrahim Rawabdeh.
During the ceremony, Queen Rania Al Abdullah Hospital for Children won the first place as a “Hospital Friendly to Childhood and Psychological Resilience”, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Rawabdeh said that the goal of the award is to motivate institutions to create new and innovative initiatives. Director of Queen Rania Hospital Brig. Gen. Adel Wahadenah, during the ceremony, presented the most important achievements of the hospital.
He stressed that the hospital has adopted new methods in reducing the psychological burden of parents and children. At the end of the ceremony, the RMS director general honoured the hospital’s staff for their active role in this achievement.
