Schools to welcome students back for 2nd semester today

AMMAN — A total of 2.2 million students will head to their 7,500 schools across the Kingdom on Sunday for the start of the second semester, the Ministry of Education announced on Saturday.
The ministry's spokesperson, during a press conference, said that the 170,000 teaching and administrative staff are ready to receive the students, noting that the start of the academic semester will proceed as scheduled according to the school calendar, with students attending classes during the previously announced hours for the single and double shift schools, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
