AMMAN — Global Movement of Moderates Foundation is organising, in partnership with Majlis Perwakilan Mahasiswa Malaysia Jordan, a seminar dubbed “Countering Violent Extremism” to be held at the University of Jordan from Friday to Saturday, according to a statement released on Thursday by the foundation.
The seminar is addressed to 500 Malaysian undergraduates in Jordan with the aim of deconstructing the theological foundations of extremism, especially those of Daesh’s propaganda targeting young people. The young participants will have the opportunity to share experiences and exchange views with the experts.
