Tourism Ministry approves travel insurance regulation

AMMAN — Tourism Ministry on Saturday approved the regulations related to travel insurance for Jordanians travelling outside the Kingdom, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
In a press release carried by Petra, Tourism Minister Lina Annab said that the regulations are based on the Travel Agencies by-law, which stipulates providing clients with insurance documents worth JD10, 000 to cover medical emergencies and travel hazards.
She added that the decision was approved in cooperation with the Industry, Trade, and Supply Ministry and the Jordan Travel Agencies Association.
