Transport minister meets Palestinian counterpart in Ramallah

AMMAN — Transport Minister Wajih Azaizeh on Wednesday met with his Palestinian counterpart Assem Salem in Ramallah and discussed means to enhance cooperation between the countries.
Both ministers agreed on the importance of cooperation related to the use of smart transport applications especially since Palestine has formed a national team for smart transport and has begun preparing studies and recommendations necessary for this transformation.
Azaizeh stressed that Palestine is a key stop in the regional interconnection project, which will have positive impacts on all countries participating in the project, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Salem commended Jordan's supportive stances towards Palestine, referring to “the deep-rooted and historical relationships” between Jordan and Palestine.
