Turkish embassy celebrates 70th anniversary of ties with Jordan

AMMAN — The Turkish embassy in Jordan on Sunday held a ceremony celebrating 70 years of Jordanian-Turkish relations, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Monday.
The ceremony was attended by Their Royal Highnesses Prince Raad Bin Zeid, Princess Majda Raad and Princess Wijdan Al Hashemi, in addition to various ministers, senators and guests.
In a speech he delivered during the ceremony, Turkish Ambassador to Jordan Murat Karagöz said that Jordan and Turkey have special relations and shared history, highlighting the importance of the free trade agreement signed between the two countries in increasing bilateral trade.
