Two dead, one critical after Mafraq car accident

AMMAN — Two people died and another was critically injured in a car accident in the Balama area of Mafraq Governorate on Monday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Mafraq Civil Defence Director Col. Khaled Shlool said that the car hit an electrical pole, which sparked a fire inside the vehicle. He added that the injured were transferred to Zarqa and Mafraq public hospitals.
Mafraq Public Hospital Director Mohammad Tahhan said that one of the individuals died at Zarqa Public Hospital, while another, whose case was critical upon arrival, was pronounced dead later.
