Two people drown in agricultural pond in Maan

AMMAN – Two people died on Thursday when they drowned in an agricultural pond near the Al Jafr area in Maan, one of them was 17 years old and the other was 27 years old, according to Maan civil defence director, Colonel Salim Sarayrah.
Sarayrah added that the cadres of civil defence rushed to the area after being informed of the drowning of two people in one of the agricultural ponds. The diving teams managed to retrieve the bodies and evacuated them to Maan Governmental Hospital, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
