Umniah, SOFEX Jordan sign partnership agreement

AMMAN — Umniah and the Special Operations Forces Exhibition and Conference - SOFEX Jordan on Wednesday signed a cybersecurity partnership agreement.  The agreement was signed by the CEO of the financial department of Umniah, Samer Taha, and the CEO of SOFEX, Ahmed Al Tawil, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. The CEO of the business sector at Umniah, Eyad Jabr said that the partnership agreement demonstrates Umniah’s pioneering role in the cybersecurity sector, whether it's through establishing the first academy in this field in Jordan or its network and cybersecurity management centre. He added that the Artificial Intelligence Conference and Exhibition in Defence Technology and Cybersecurity represents a significant opportunity to showcase security capabilities to companies and enthusiasts. Tawil expressed his hope that this partnership would contribute to enhancing the conference and exhibition, both of which have had wide global attendance from those interested in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
