Wheat reserve sufficient for 18 months — Jordan Silos

AMMAN — Jordan has managed to boost the strategic reserve to reach safe levels that can cover local consumption of wheat for 18 months and fodder for 10 months, Chairman of Jordan Silos and Supply General Company Anwar Ajarmeh said on Saturday.

In a statement, the official added that the Kingdom also has improved the productivity of agriculture and livestock sectors, as well as food industries to meet local market needs, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
