WHO event in Aqaba highlights importance of healthy lifestyle

AMMAN — Deputising for HRH Princess Aisha bint Al Hussein, Social Development Minister Wafa Bani Mustafa launched a health event in Aqaba titled "Words and Actions". The event, held for the first time in Jordan, encourages the public to adopt a healthy lifestyle. The event was organised by the World Health Organisation (WHO) office in Jordan on the occasion of the WHO’s 75th anniversary, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. HRH Princess Aisha, chairperson of the National Centre for Women’s Health, commended the WHO’s support for the event. WHO Representative to Jordan Jamela Al Raiby praised Princess Aisha for sponsoring the event.
