Zain opens customer service call centre at Madaba's VTC

AMMAN — With the support of the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, Zain on Sunday inaugurated its customer service call centre in Madaba at the Vocational Training Corporation (VTC).
Through this initiative, Zain aims to provide sustainable employment opportunities and social security benefits for 13 young men and women from Madaba.
Marwan Al Rifai, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation revealed that the ministry has contributed, between 2018 and 2023, to funding of the establishment of eight call centres in collaboration with Zain in various governorates, with a total cost of JD640,000.
These centres have provided 78 permanent job opportunities for individuals from the governorates.
He added that two new centres will be opened in the coming months, creating 26 new jobs.
The Ministry of Labour/VTC contributes to the Zain call centre initiative by providing the location for the call centre, along with infrastructure services.
The Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, in collaboration with Zain, was responsible for designing and developing the initiative, as well as providing JD95,000 in funding.
