Eagle Hills Jordan welcomes Douglas Small as new CEO

Jun 29,2017 - Last updated at Jun 29,2017

Abu Dhabi-based real estate investment and development company Eagle Hills Jordan has appointed Douglas Small as the company’s CEO.

This comes on the heels of the resignation of the company’s former CEO Alaa Batayneh, according to a company statement. Small will officially join the Eagle Hills Jordan team as CEO on July 4. He has good experience in managing large-scale development projects.

With a background in architecture, design and construction, his previous projects include Nad Al Sheba Racecourse, Meydan City at Bu Kadra, a development of 132 high rise plots and Meydan Business Park Phase 1 in Dubai as head of projects at Meydan LLC, a position that he occupied from 2007 to the current year.

Alaa Batayneh, the previous CEO of Eagle Hills Jordan, served in his position for two years, beginning his work with the company mid-2015.

In his tenure as CEO, many key project milestones were reached, including the beginning of the handover of residential units at Marsa Zayed’s Al Raha Village. Eagle Hills is an Abu Dhabi-based private real estate investment and development focused on the development of new city hubs in high-growth international markets.
