'14 schools switch to remote education after recording virus cases'

AMMAN — No coronavirus transmission has been reported among school students and teachers across the Kingdom, the Ministry of Education said on Tuesday.
In a statement cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the ministry said that since the beginning of the academic year, only 14 schools have switched to remote education, a measure taken after registering a number of COVID-19 infections among students and teachers, who all were in contact with COVID-19 positive individuals outside the schools.
The statement added that another 45 schools have also resorted to distance education as they are located in isolated areas.
