Around 40,000 Jordanians reside in Qatar

DOHA — Jordanians who have residency permits in Qatar are estimated at 40,000, according to figures released in August, Jordanian Ambassador in Doha Zahi Smadi said Saturday.

Smadi said there were about 30,000 Jordanians in Qatar in 2012.

He also commended Jordanian-Qatari relations which reflect positively on the interests of both peoples in various fields.
