Easy wins GAM ride-hailing tender

AMMAN — Easy ride-hailing application won the tender floated by the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) as an official party to manage and develop the taxi-tracking system in Amman, according to a statement released on Wednesday.

In addition to winning the tender, Easy also became the first official ride-hailing application in Amman.

The new tracking system will improve the transportation sector to provide “a distinctive service to citizens” by reducing the roaming distance for the drivers, and facilitating the process of finding a safe and secure mode of transport for the passengers, the statement said.
