Former army chief Abu Taleb laid to rest

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Maj. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat on Friday attended the funeral of former army chief Field Marshal Fathi Abu Taleb, who passed away on Thursday.

Abu Taleb was laid to rest at the Sahab Cemetery, after senior military and civil officials, family members and citizens performed the noon prayer at the King Hussein Bin Talal Mosque in Amman, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
