AMMAN — Minister of Health Ghazi Zaben on Saturday checked on the expansion projects at Al Nadim Hospital in Madaba and the Karak Hospital.
The expansion will provide Al Nadim Hospital with five new operation rooms, an intensive care unit and a critical care unit, the statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, said. It will include a sanitisation department and various support services, at the cost of nearly JD4 million, Petra reported.
Meanwhile, the Karak Hospital expansion includes renovations to the catheterisation, cardiology, burns and lithotripsy units at a cost of JD3 million, the news agency said.
Zaben noted the expansion projects at both hospitals will vastly improve the quality of services for both citizens and employees, with tangible results. He pointed out that expansion efforts in both hospitals are moving forward smoothly and on schedule, expressing satisfaction for the progress made.
