King, Morocco monarch discuss coordinating efforts to counter COVID-19

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah and King Mohammed VI of Morocco on Wednesday stressed the need to coordinate efforts to counter the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
In a phone call, the two leaders underscored the importance of maintaining efforts to counter the humanitarian and economic ramifications of COVID-19, while also safeguarding the health and wellbeing of peoples, according to a Royal Court statement.
His Majesty said that Jordan stands with Morocco in its efforts to counter COVID-19.
The two leaders also exchanged best wishes on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
Moreover, the phone call covered the deep-rooted brotherly ties between the two countries and peoples, the statement said.
