Voters have until July 8 to contest personal details in lists — IEC

AMMAN — The deadline for contesting personal details in voter list is on Friday, July 8, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, quoted Independent Elections Commission (IEC) Spokesperson Jihad Momani as saying on Thursday.

In regards to contesting others’ information in the voter list, Momani said that up until Wednesday, 75 contestations were recorded.

The relevant committee started looking into the contestations in order to send them to the IEC’s board of commissioners. Momani added that the IEC on Wednesday distributed around 300,000 brochures around the Kingdom on the procedures of contesting voter lists.
