Family of Lebanese girl thanks King for medical treatment in Jordan

AMMAN — Members of the Lebanese Kassar family on Tuesday extended their appreciation to His Majesty King Abdullah for his humanitarian gesture to treat their child Suhailah Kassar, who was hit by a stray bullet in front of her house in Lebanon, in the Kingdom due to her critical condition.
The family met with Jordanian ambassador to Lebanon Walid Hadid and handed him a letter of appreciation to His Majesty, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Last Wednesday, King Abdullah directed authorities to dispatch an airplane with a specialised medical team from the Royal Medical Services to bring Suhailah to Jordan for treatment.
