By JT - Sep 29,2014 - Last updated at Sep 29,2014

AMMAN — INJAZ and Visa, the payments technology company, on Monday announced a strategic partnership to deliver financial education to 1,000 students in schools across Jordan.

Under an agreement signed by the two sides, a specialised financial literacy programme will be conducted at schools as of October and will include money skills lessons, according to a statement sent to The Jordan Times.

“We believe that financial literacy programmes introduce the concept of financial management and its importance among young people, and equips them to choose their careers and education,” the statement quoted INJAZ CEO Deema Bibi as saying.
