AMMAN — The deadline for non-Jordanian workers who have obtained a final departure permit to exit the Kingdom without return is March 25, the Labour Ministry said on Wednesday.
The deadline applies to workers who have benefitted from exemptions mentioned in the Cabinet’s decision related to legalising and rectifying the statuses of non-Jordanian workers, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The ministry, via its website, has published the names of 433 illegal workers who obtained a final exit clearance and have not yet left the country or withdrawn their benefits from the Social Security Corporation for final exit purposes, and whose work permits have been cancelled.
The ministry, in a statement, added that illegal workers who do not leave by March 25 must repay the exemptions before deportation orders are implemented against them.
