AMMAN — Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Tareq Hammouri on Tuesday said that the committee formed under Article 3 of Defence Order No. 6 has agreed on the recommendations of the committee for the sustainability of work, production and supply to allow a list of economic sectors to operate as of Wednesday.
The list includes cultural and training centres, vocational and technical training providers, music education institutes, learning disabilities centres and public libraries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Hammouri said in a statement that resuming these sectors is contingent on their adherence to the conditions, procedures and instructions of public safety and physical distancing set by the Ministry of Health.
He noted that the decision came after seeking the opinion of the National Anti-Pandemic Committee. According to Hammouri, an agreement was also made to increase the seating capacity of the transport sector to 75 per cent.
