1,076 intend to run for parliamentary elections — poll monitor

AMMAN — The number of people intend to run for the upcoming parliamentary elections, has reached 1,076 so far, according to a poll by the Civil Coalition for Monitoring Elections and the Performance of Elected Councils (Rased).
The findings of the poll issued on Wednesday added that the number of female candidates intended to run for the upcoming parliamentary elections, slated for November 10, reached 206, constituting 19 per cent of candidates, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
