110,000 narcotic pills seized in Qatraneh

AMMAN — Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) personnel have seized 110,000 narcotic pills near Qatraneh, in Karak Governorate, the Public Security Department (PSD) announced on Monday. PSD said that after receiving a tip-off about a vehicle, carrying Captagon pills near Qatraneh, AND personnel attempted an interception, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Once the driver saw the security personnel, he fled and threw a bag containing 110,000 Captagon pills out of the vehicle, according to Petra. A search is under way for the suspect.
