AMMAN — Epidemiological investigation teams in Irbid on Sunday implemented full sterilisation of two residential buildings in Irbid after receiving information that 11 Arab-Israeli students who were in the buildings tested positive after leaving the Kingdom.
Irbid Governor Radwan Otoum ordered the closure of the two buildings to enable teams to implement tests and take samples from their residents, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Head of the medical aid committee at the Jordan Medical Association branch in Irbid Saddam Shunnaq said that the students left Jordan on Thursday, noting that work is under way to identify any people who were in contact with them in the two buildings.
