350 vehicles impounded, 1,278 people arrested for violating curfew on Friday

AMMAN — A total of 350 vehicles were impounded and 1,278 people arrested for violating the comprehensive curfew, which was imposed in Amman and Zarqa on Friday, as well as the partial curfew in the rest of the Kingdom, the Public Security Directorate’s (PSD) spokesperson said on Friday.

In a statement, cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, on Saturday, the spokesperson said that all necessary measures will be taken against violators.

The Civil Defence Department (CDD) personnel dealt with 2,523 medical emergencies and incidents, over a span of 24 hours including 35 fires and 20 rescue missions.
