36 defendants in SSC cases urged to turn themselves in

AMMAN — The State Security Court (SSC) on Tuesday warned 36 defendants involved in various crimes to turn themselves in or be considered fugitives.
The SSC said that after the 10-day period is over, the defendants will be considered fugitives and their assets will be frozen, directing all Public Security Department personnel to arrest them on sight and urging any civilian who knows of their whereabouts to come forward.
Moreover, the SSC said any action or pledge taken by the defendants after the 10-day period will be considered invalid. The crimes involve joining terrorist groups, illegal arms trading and selling narcotic substances or possessing them with the intention of trade.
