Abu Rumman appointed as ambassador at Foreign Ministry

AMMAN — The Cabinet on Wednesday appointed Abdullah Abu Rumman as ambassador at the Foreign Ministry.
Abu Rumman served as minister of state for media affairs and communications under Marouf Bakhit’s second government in 2011.
The Cabinet also approved the opening of a Jordanian embassy in Mexico.
Moreover, the Council of Ministers discussed the issue of filling vacancies at government-owned companies, university hospitals and public universities through the Civil Service Bureau.
The Cabinet decided to refer the issue to its Service, Infrastructure and Social Affairs Committee for further study.
