Agriculture minister, S. Korean ambassador talk cooperation

AMMAN — Minister of Agriculture Mohammed Daoudiyeh on Wednesday discussed cooperation prospects in the agricultural sector with South Korean Ambassador to Jordan Lee Jae-wan and Country Director of the Korea International Cooperation Agency-Jordan Office Hyo Jin Kim.

Talks also went over the existing cooperation to implement the Korean volunteer programme and joint projects in the fields of rationing water, smart agriculture and rural development, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The ambassador expressed his interest in the Royal initiative to enhance food security at the regional level and the desire to cooperate in implementing Jordan’s food security strategy.
