Ambassador Hawamdeh to represent Jordan at UNWTO

AMMAN — Jordan’s Ambassador to Spain Areej Hawamdeh on Sunday presented her credentials to Secretary General of the UN World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) Potolikashviti Zura as the Kingdom’s permanent representative at the UN agency, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
On behalf of the UN agency, Zura highlighted the importance of Jordan as a “distinguished” tourist destination on the global tourism map, as the two sides discussed ways to enhance partnership between Jordan and the organisation in the field of tourism development and the possibility of benefitting from the UNWTO’s programmes and the technical expertise and knowledge facilitated by the organisation.
