Amman Chamber of Commerce, Panama talk cooperation

AMMAN —  Amman Chamber of Commerce Chairman Khalil Al Hajj Tawfiq met with Panama's Ambassador Tomas Guardia on Wednesday and discussed means to boost economic cooperation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

During the meeting, attended by the chamber’s deputy chairman, Nabil Khatib, the two sides stressed the importance of opening “new horizons of bilateral cooperation”.

Guardia noted that the opening of his country's embassy in Jordan is “evidence of its interest" in enhancing economic and trade relations with the Kingdom, stressing the need to exchange expertise between the Kingdom and Panama in the shipping field and logistics.
