AMMAN — The Anti-Narcotic Department (AND) arrested 13 suspected drug dealers across the Kingdom last week, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The AND found large quantities of various narcotics with the suspects and foiled an attempt to smuggle 35,000 pills. Public Security Department Spokesperson Lt. Col. Amer Sartawi said that the drug dealers who were arrested during the AND security campaign were from the areas of Amman, Aqaba, South Shouneh, Zarqa and Mafraq.
Sartawi added that the AND personnel tracked and inspected a vehicle on a border crossing where pills were found hidden inside.
