Arab League delegation to monitor elections

AMMAN — The Arab League mission to observe parliamentary elections comprises 19 members from 12 Arab countries, and will be deployed to Amman, Zarqa, Irbid, Balqa, Jerash, Mafraq, Ajloun, Madaba and Karak, head of the mission Khalil Thawadi said on Monday.
The mission is monitoring and assessing campaigning, voting and sorting on election day, as well as commitment to the Kingdom’s relevant laws and international standards, noted Thawadi, who is also the Arab League assistant secretary general for Arab national security, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
