Arms sale attempt thwarted

AMMAN — Zarqa Preventive Security Department personnel detained two suspects while they were attempting to sell weapons, the Public Security Department (PSD) media centre said Monday.

Security personnel arrested the two suspects and seized 10 pump-action rifles found in their possession.

One of the two suspects turned out to be wanted on theft and fraud cases, and both suspects are currently being questioned.
