Army chief attends UAE conference

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat has participated in the chairmen of chiefs-of-staff conference at the Gulf Cooperation Council states, held recently in the UAE, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Monday.
Jordan, Egypt and the US took part in the conference, during which issues of interest to the military and efforts to combat terrorism were discussed.
