Army chief meets Sudanese president, top defence, military officials

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat and his accompanying delegation on Friday concluded their visit to Sudan, during which Freihat met with Sudanese President Omar Bashir and the Sudanese defence minister.
Freihat also held “important and successful” discussions with his Sudanese counterpart, Kamal Mahi, on bolstering bilateral ties in all fields, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Saturday.
