Army chief meets UK, US ambassadors

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Maj. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat on Tuesday met with British Ambassador to Jordan Edward Oakden to discuss ways to enhance relations between both countries’ armies.

Separately, Freihat met with US Ambassador to Jordan Alice G. Wells and discussed the latest regional and international developments, in addition to boosting cooperation and coordination on issues of mutual interest for the Jordanian and US armies, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. HRH Prince Feisal attended the meetings.
