Army chief meets with US military official on regional, global events

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat on Monday received United States Central Command Director for Strategy, Plans and Policy Maj. Gen. Michael Langley and an accompanying delegation.

Freihat discussed with the visitors issues of common interest in addition to the latest regional and international events, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Talks went over prospects of fostering cooperation and joint coordination for the best interest of the two countries.
