Army chief tours General Support Engineering Battalion

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Yousef Huneiti on Thursday visited the General Support Engineering Battalion and listened to a briefing by its commander on the unit’s operational projects and future plans.
During the visit, Huneiti inaugurated a number of administrative buildings for the unit's staff and a model weapon depot. Huneiti also visited the Royal Engineering Corps Directorate headquarters, where he inaugurated an auditorium, a meeting hall and a gym, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Huneiti also visited the Military Women's Training Centre and was briefed on the development of women's work in the Jordanian Armed Forces and their achievements, as well as the centre's role in offering training for female officers and personnel.
