AMMAN — The Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) and Djibouti Ports and Free Zones Authority (DPFZA) on Tuesday signed two cooperation agreements aimed at developing trade and transport activities between both countries. ASEZA Chief Commissioner Nasser Shraideh said that the deals also aim to exchange expertise as well as developing the two countries’ economic zones, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

DPFZA Chairman Aboubaker O. Hadi said that cooperation between Jordan and Djibouti is ongoing at all levels, especially in the commercial sector, due to the geographic location of the Kingdom, expressing hope to further boost business and investment through these two agreements. The deals include holding regular consultations on related activities and institutionalising cooperation to serve both countries’ businesspeople.
