ATF secretary general, Iranian ambassador discuss enhancing ties

AMMAN — Secretary General of the Arab Thought Forum (ATF) Mohammad Abu Hamour on Sunday met with Iranian Ambassador to Jordan Mojtaba Ferdowsi, an ATF statement said.

During the meeting, Abu Hamour and Ferdowsi discussed prospects of enhancing dialogue between Arabs and Iranians, as well as the dialogue between "the four pillars of the Muslim nation: the Arabs, the Persians, the Turks and Kurds", which was the title of the conference held by the ATF in July in the presence of HRH Prince Hassan.

The Iranian ambassador commended the forum's efforts and initiatives in encouraging dialogue, especially when dealing with the region's challenges.
