AMMAN — The Jordan Customs Department (JCD) on Tuesday seized 1,658 Captagon pills and 1.5 palm-sized sheets of hashish in a car on the Desert Highway, according to an official source at the JCD.
The source told the Jordan News Agency, Petra, that after the car showed non-compliance with security personnel’s order to stop, anti-smuggling patrols pursued, stopped and searched it, arresting the suspects.
The seized car and materials and arrested persons were handed over to the Anti-Narcotics Department to complete the necessary legal procedures, he noted.
